Your ceremony is secured with a $250 deposit.
The fee for all ceremonies includes initial meeting, all correspondence from initial contact to Contract completion, preparation of scripts, one on-site rehearsal, attendance and conduct of the ceremony. Further pricing details below and in Terms and Conditions.

The fee is inclusive of:
• initial interview either in person or via audio-visual platform;
• all correspondence between the parties from initial enquiry to Contract completion;
• preparation of ceremony scripts for client approval;
• progress meeting if required/requested;
• one on-site rehearsal;
• attendance and conduct of the ceremony*;
• provision of agreed equipment;
• provision of ceremonial marriage certificate and vow copies;
• completion and lodgement of all required legal documents.
*A maximum of 3.5 hours on is allowed on the Celebration Day for travel, set up and conduct of the ceremony. If additional time is required an additional fee will be discussed.

Additional fees may be incurred in instances including but not limited to:
• if applicable, costs incurred in seeking a shortening of time (weddings only);
• mileage for travel more than 50km and less than 350km from Brisbane;
• travel fees (flights, accommodation) for distances more than 350km from Brisbane;
• disbursements such as reasonable meal expenses if the ceremony is held at a destination that requires an overnight stay;
• costume hire for theme ceremonies; and
• equipment hire if not included in the Contract.

Unless otherwise set out in the Contract following discussions, all parties agree to the following:
• payment of $250 deposit within seven days of booking confirmation;
• payment of balance no less than 14 days prior to ceremony;
• settlement of out-of-pocket travel expenses within seven days of date of invoice;
• amounts outstanding beyond the payment terms may incur a $25 administration fee and attract interest;
• the client(s) will ensure that all bookings, permits and licences are obtained and any fees paid, providing a copy of the confirmation document to the Authorised Celebrant no later than seven days prior to the ceremony. For example, bookings for Brisbane City Council parks have various fees and inclusions;
• the client(s) will be responsible for complying with any venue / Council / Government terms of use; and
• the client(s) will ensure that any required original music will be downloaded from a licenced platform (e.g. Spotify, iTunes). Arrangements for who will play the music can be discussed during ceremony preparation. The playlist will be tested during the rehearsal to ensure correct selection, order, timing and quality of sound output.
All rates are exclusive of GST.
All payments made via Point of Sale App (Square) will be subject to a payment processing surcharge of 1.9%.

• The initial deposit payment is refundable until the Contract is signed and NOIM is provided to the Authorised Celebrant.
• The initial deposit payment becomes non-refundable on Contract signature and receipt of the NOIM.
• The balance payment is non-refundable unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the ceremony does not proceed as agreed.
• The balance payment may be held in credit if the ceremony is postponed with sufficient notice and not less than 14 days prior to the original booked ceremony date. This will be by agreement of all parties and is dependent on the Authorised Celebrant’s availability and may include the following circumstances
Medical: e.g. significant illness/injury; significant exacerbation of condition
Hardship: e.g. victim of significant crime including family and domestic violence; financial hardship; significant car accident or widespread public transport issues; sudden, unavoidable primary caring responsibilities
Compassionate: e.g. death/sudden serious illness of immediate family member or close friend
Duties: e.g. essential, military, emergency/volunteer emergency services
Disaster: e.g. significant natural disaster/geo-political event (flood, fire, pandemic, earthquake, tsunami, outbreak of war, terrorism, cyber-attack.
In other circumstances, refunds will be at the discretion of the Authorised Celebrant.
